A 12-week, self-paced program rooted in attachment science — designed to help you parent with clarity, confidence, and connection.

Why Loving Your Child Isn’t Always Enough

You love your child.

And still, there are moments when:

  • You feel hijacked by stress or urgency

  • You snap — and then feel guilt afterward

  • You shut down instead of staying present

  • You second-guess yourself constantly

  • You wonder, “Why does this feel harder for me?”

  • You carry a quiet fear that you’re getting it wrong

Love is essential.

But love alone doesn’t automatically teach nervous system regulation, repair, or relational leadership.

Those are skills.

Most mothers were never taught how to stay regulated while guiding a developing nervous system.

Connection Over Chaos exists to teach you how.

Why I Created Connection Over Chaos

12-week self-paced program

What Research Shows About Emotional Regulation

A child’s developing brain learns how to manage stress through repeated, everyday interactions with caregivers.

Research consistently shows that when parents strengthen their own regulation capacity and repair ruptures effectively, children demonstrate measurable improvements in resilience, self- regulation, and relational trust.

Stress responses are adaptable.

Which means patterns can change.

Connection Over Chaos teaches the foundational relational skills that make that change possible.

What You’ll Learn

Inside Connection Over Chaos, you’ll learn how to:

  • Stay steady when emotions escalate

  • Understand what’s happening in your child’s developing brain

  • Interrupt reactive cycles before they erode trust

  • Repair disconnection in ways that rebuild safety

  • Establish connection as the emotional baseline in your home

Build the kinds of support that make sustainable parenting possible.

These are not quick fixes.

They are repeatable skills that gradually reshape patterns — so connection becomes more natural, even in hard moments.

A Pace That Supports Real Change

Change doesn’t happen overnight.

This experience unfolds over time, giving your nervous system space to adapt and integrate — so the tools become more accessible when you need them.

Rather than rushing change, this program supports gradual shifts that can be sustained.

Each week centers on a small, manageable skill you can weave into everyday life.

Everything is self-paced, with no deadlines and no pressure to keep up.You’ll have ongoing access, so you can return to the material whenever you need it.

As your responses begin to shift, children often follow — showing more openness and cooperation as they experience consistency and emotional safety.

Monthly Support Gathering

Live Support

As you move through the material, there may be moments you want to talk through — questions that surface, situations that feel harder than you expected, or insights you’d like help applying.

Twice a month, you’ll be invited to join a live session — a thoughtful space to reflect on what you’re learning, bring real-life situations, and receive guidance in real time.

It’s a space for:

  • Clarifying what feels confusing

  • Exploring how the concepts apply in your home

  • Strengthening confidence in your responses

  • Receiving guidance grounded in both science and lived experience

These gatherings are part of the experience — available to support you as you integrate what you’re learning.

WHY THIS IS DIFFERENT

It starts with awareness

When you can recognize what’s happening beneath the reaction, you gain the ability to choose your response.

It’s Designed for Real Life

The practices are simple, repeatable, and usable in real moments — meltdowns, transitions, exhaustion — not ideal conditions.

It Focuses on Relationship,Not Control

Instead of quick fixes, you build trust, repair, and emotional resilience that last beyond childhood.

Meet Your Guide

Connection Over Chaos was created by Stephanie Ulfig, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor with graduate training from Northwestern University and advanced study in attachment, developmental trauma, and nervous system regulation.

For years, she has worked with parents and families navigating emotional overwhelm, behavioral challenges, and relational strain. Again and again, she saw the same pattern: loving parents were doing their best — but had never been taught the relational skills that make parenting feel more intentional and connected.

Her work integrates attachment science, developmental psychology, and nervous system research — translating complex theory into practical, repeatable relational skills parents can use in everyday life.

Connection Over Chaos was designed to help mothers build calmer, more connected homes through intentional, research-informed relational leadership.

  • Want to parent intentionally

  • Value research-informed guidance

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this only for mothers who are struggling?

No. Connection Over Chaos is for mothers who want to strengthen their relationship with their child and build strong relational skills—not just respond to challenges when they arise. Many parents join because they want to be more intentional and confident in everyday parenting moments.

How much time does this take each week?

Each week introduces one key skill through a short video and guided practice. The real work happens in small, everyday moments with your child.

You can expect to spend about 30 minutes per week, though some weeks you may spend less and others a bit more. There are no deadlines—you can move through the course in a way that fits your life.

What if I’ve already made mistakes?

Every parent has.

Repair is one of the most powerful relational experiences a child can have. This course teaches you how to reconnect in ways that rebuild trust over time.

Will this help with challenging behavior?

This program does not focus on behavior management strategies.

It focuses on strengthening regulation and relational trust — the foundation that influences behavior from the inside out. When emotional safety increases, cooperation often follows.

What if I start and realize it’s not the right fit?

You have four weeks to explore the program. If it doesn’t feel supportive for you right now, simply reach out for a refund. No explanations required.

Is this appropriate for older children?

Yes. The principles of regulation, repair, and relational leadership apply across developmental stages. The tools can be adapted for toddlers through teens.

Do I need prior knowledge of attachment or nervous system theory?

No prior training is required. The concepts are explained clearly and translated into practical, usable skills.

I’m a capable, thoughtful mom. Shouldn’t I already know how to do this?

Most mothers were never explicitly taught how to regulate themselves while guiding a developing nervous system. These are relational skills — not instincts.

Learning them is not a sign of inadequacy. It’s a sign of intention.

Things are mostly fine at home. Is this necessary?

Connection Over Chaos is not designed only for moments of strain. It’s for mothers who want to strengthen the relational foundation before patterns become harder to shift. You don’t have to wait until something feels off to build something stronger.

I’m busy. Is this realistic for my schedule?

The program is structured to be manageable. Each week centers on one focused lesson and small, repeatable practices that integrate into everyday interactions.

There are no deadlines. You can move at your own pace and revisit the course anytime in your account.

Will this help with strong-willed or highly emotional children?

Yes. Children with bigger emotions benefit from steady, regulated leadership. This course strengthens your ability to remain present and guide intensity without escalating it.
